9 Months Old

9 months old means only 3 more months till we have a 1 year old!!!
Oh my goodness!!!
Our baby is growing like a weed. Like I say every month, she brings us PURE joy!

She is sleeping in her crib from around 8:30pm to 4:30am, wakes up for a feeding then goes back down until 6:30am when daddy brings her into bed with me and we sleep till around 8 or so.
She is still nursing and eating baby food usually twice a day.
She is beginning to be a very fast crawler when she wants to get to something.
Trying to pull up on everything.
And EVERYTHING goes in her mouth.
She just has two bottom teeth.
(which she has learned to bite me! OUCH!)
She wears mostly 9 month clothes.
She says "dada" and "mama"
but doesn't know it's "us" yet!
She is soooo playful and oh so ticklish!
She waves when you wave to her.
And claps when she hears music as well as trys to dance!
She likes to put her fingers on her lips and make noise and move her fingers up and down.
I weighed her at home and she weighs 20.2 lbs!!!!!!!
I love Tynlee Anne more than anything!!!!!!!

Trip to Tahoe

11.11.11= COOL :)
We had a blast in Tahoe this week! We had a SUPER busy Sunday! We left bright and (early) for Tulare cause Stephen was preaching there in the afternoon. We enjoyed our time there and left for home about 3pm. Before leaving for Tahoe, we needed to come by home first and get all our things and I wanted to bathe Tynlee and put her in her jammies for the 3.5 hour treck to Truckee. We ended up leaving Modesto around 7pm which put us at our hotel or should I say resort around 10:15pm. We stayed there Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night, came home for church Wednesday afternoon. It was a VERY relaxing couple of days. We went there in the first place because my husband got a job there for the concrete business and my brother in-law(Stephen's boss) was going to help Stephen which meant my sister's family stayed with us in the hotel!! We had a 3 bedroom 3 bath suite with a balcony overlooking the mountains "full of snow", a huge kitchen, fire place, TV in every room, KING bed(which we aren't used to), BIG huge bath tub, washer and dryer, etc. It was by far, the nicest place we ever stayed. It was called Northstar at Big Horn and it was in a cute little village. We walked out of our hotel and walked through a quaint little "village" to STARBUCKS, toy store, snowboard shop, and so much  more. They also have an ice skating rink, pizza place, sushi bar, Mexican restaurant and a place like Color Me Mine. It reminded us of those glass little villages you buy from Michael's for Christmas. It was magical and soooo cute! We LOVED it!!!

The boys only had to work a few hours a day so we got to spend a lot of time with them. I stayed in most of the time with Tynlee since she was fighting a cold. Plus I had lots of "all day sickness" so I needed to stay low and eat a snack which seemed like every hour in order for me to feel good :/.

Tynlee had a great time playing with her 3 boy cousins and me and my sister had a great time catching up. The boys were SO sweet with Tynlee, I loved watching them play together!

Tynlee and her dolly

Seriously, so cute! She loves to kiss it, ALL the time!!
I LOVE having a girl!!!

Tynlee's 1st Halloween

Well I finally am posting about Halloween!

We had a wonderful night. My sister invited us and some other family over to eat(Mexican stew...yummoo!) and go trick or treating. We had a great time watching all the kiddos get so excited over candy. As a kid, I never went trick or treating. We always went to our school carnival on Halloween plus if you knew were I grew up, in the boondocks, there isn't really anywhere to trick or treat! LOL. but Tynlee loved walking around with daddy, he held her the whole time and I snapped LOTS of pictures ;) duh!!

Tynlee was a Michigan cheerleader! And I have to tell you about this uniform. Regular $54 and I got it on Ebay(LOVE!!) for 99 cents!!! It's seriously a REAL uniform with exact same material as my high school one. It's adorable! As you know, Michigan is Stephen's favorite EVER football team, so daddy LOVED it! And we thought it was cute and no one else would be dressed like our little cheerleader! Plus, she can wear it again!!

We aren't big "fans" of Halloween but it gives us another excuse to hang out with family then we are all in it!
Now let's get to the REAL holidays!!!

7 Weeks Pregnant with baby #2

7 weeks pregnant today!

Oh and by the way, I can't wait to write the HALLOWEEN post and show you my adorable little Michigan Cheerleader BUT I left my camera at  my sister's house and have yet to get it. Pictures coming soon!!

Feeling "great"!!! Kinda sorta. I have been sucking on a Preggo Drop before I get out of bed in the AM and I just eat breakfast(2 eggs) right away. And I usually feel pretty good through out the day as long as I'm eating every couple hours. At night on the other hand, is when I feel the worse and nothing but going to bed helps. But I would WAY rather feel yucky at night than during the day!!! It's been great having Tynlee to preoccupy me and keep me "active" and busy since she's all over the place now(crawling!). We have our first ultrasound a week from Friday, the 11th! Excited is an understatement!!! I remember the first sono at 6 weeks 4 days with Tynlee and all we could see was a heartbeat the same size as the baby! It was such a relief! Praying for good news and a healthy GROWING baby! :) I still can't believe #2 is on HIS/her way!!! We are beyond thrilled! I hope I continue to stay well and FEEL well!! We already started preparing "researching" for our hopes of having a VBAC.

PS: As you can see, I emphasized the "HIS". Honestly, we really don't care if baby is a BOY or GIRL. There is pros to both, definitely. I would love for Tynlee to have a sister and a bestie that close in age. And I could dress them alike etc. But also, I would love to give Stephen a boy(even though he says a girl would be excellent too) what guy doesn't want a son. And to have a GIRL and a BOY would be awesome. My brother and I were close in age and we had fun playing together too. We were buddies. He brought the "tom boy" out in me! And yes, we have names picked out...well for sure a boy name! Girl name is hard and there's a VERY long list!!!

Porter Stephen Howard
Meaning: Porter is my maiden name and we think it rocks as a first name and so unique and different, just like Tynlee :) and Stephen, well that's my husband's wonderful name. And we decided on not doing a III, we wouldn't know what to call him :)
Girl Name(s):
-McKinley (yes I know Tynlee & McKinley, but we like it)
-Harper(Stephen doesn't like it)
-Elly(simple but cute and fun)

We have decided to have a GENDER REVEALING party and I am so excited to plan it!!!!
